\u201cAsk, seek, knock.\u201d Three verbs that speak of a heart that does not give up, because it has discovered that it has a Father. Jesus invites us to knock even at midnight, precisely when everything seems closed: when we see no way forward, when a prayer seems to find no answer, when we have asked so much and are tired of waiting. It is precisely there that He says to us: keep knocking. Not because God needs to be convinced to love us, but because, in persistent prayer, it is our heart that slowly learns to entrust itself to His. And there is something even more beautiful. Jesus does not simply promise that God will give us everything we desire. He reveals to us that the Father wants to give us something infinitely greater: the Holy Spirit, that is, His very presence within us. Perhaps we knock asking for a situation to change, and God begins by transforming our heart. We ask Him to take away a cross, and He gives us a strength we did not know we had. We ask for an answer, and He teaches us to surrender. We ask for a gift, and we discover that the greatest gift is He Himself. This Gospel teaches us a prayer filled with love: the prayer of one who does not seek God only for what they can receive, but because they do not want to live without Him. Keep knocking, even if it is night. Keep seeking, keep asking, even when Heaven seems silent. Behind that door there is not a God annoyed by our insistence; there is a Father who loves us more than we know how to desire what is good for ourselves. And perhaps the most beautiful prayer today can become this: \u201cFather, I will keep knocking. But more than what I ask of You, give me Yourself. Give me Your Spirit, teach me to trust when I do not understand, and let my heart never grow tired of seeking You. Because if I find You, I have found all the love in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
